I have been with Yahoo since 2000, and are very happy with their service. Yahoo might be a little more then other web hosting services, but they are there 24/7, and you know they will be there in the future. The smaller operations might not be as highly capitalized and do not have the R %26amp; D that Yahoo has.
And as your needs change, they have the plans to work with you. The custom email service ($35- yr) is a great way to start.

ps: what ever service you use, buy the domain name for at least 5 yrs, you can "take it with you" where ever if you own it outright.

Reply:Take it you are talking about the free vision at geocities which is owned by yahoo. You have to use their page builder will not accept FTD unless you have paid version. I started one but don't take care of it any more, turned it over to someone else couple months ago. geocities.com/philampost123 have fun you will like it.
