Reply:Forget about what everyone said. I've been doing web design for quite some time and have been dealing with so many hosts that were just horrible. I also dislike Go Daddy, although I've seen worse.

I continue to use godaddy because they are cheap, easy and extremely quick - I've never had server downtime (on shared and VDS) - I'm even a reseller for them. Your other option is to go with an independent hosting company - usually the most reliable, but sometimes pricy.

2) You can need to buy a server on your own and then host the web applications on your server. If you were to do it this way, you would need to have the knowledge of maintaining a server. If you don't have the knowledge, you would need to hire someone who has. And also, you would need to be the one answering all the tech. support calls. Again, if you don't want to answer calls yourself, you would need to hire someone who will. This would be the more expensive way to do it.
