hey! JSP never been matter of worry for any server.
apache/IIs/Pws all supports JSP.
JSPs are compiled into Java Servlets by a JSP compiler. A JSP compiler may generate a servlet in Java code that is then compiled by the Java compiler, or it may generate byte code for the servlet directly. JSPs can also be interpreted on-the-fly reducing the time taken to reload changes.

If using apache web server application and you only need jsp supports(no ejb) then you got to install tomcat container/appli cation server.
Where as you can get Jsp/servlet container for IIS(windows based server too) but that will cost wheras Apache is cost effective comes under open source.
Jsp/java is platform independent if you remember? So, just any server will support JSP

I need help in identifying Web hosting service provider who supports JSP .?
Lunarpages supports Java and JSP, and I've used them for several websites - they're very reputable and excellent with customer support.
I have a comparison of web hosting providers at the link below, that shows the technologies they support. Hope it helps.
