It is well worth the cost, just for the web prescence alone. Yahoo store takes care of practically everything, and the templates are easy to use. You can, however, out grow it as the web code is different from HTML and won;t allow you to do certain things easily if at all. If you have a basic store with a basic sale idea then it is well worth it.

Mishra Your Answer: First thing you must note down that if you want your website to be free of cost for you cant have your own domain name i.e. it cant be
www.yourname.com etc for free.
However , it can be free if you compramise with subdomain like

then follow these steps
1. Go to one of the free web hosting website(listed below)

6. Upload your "index.htm" page at top level without renaming

You will find there are many clauses in the terms of service (the contract you agree to when you sign up) that actually prevent you from using the amount of space you are looking to use.
For example. If you buy a 500GB disk space hosting plan for $5/mo (impossible to provide without overselling), and you use 5GB of that storage, chances are your account will be cancelled for %26quot;overuse of server resources%26quot;. This doesn%26#039;t necessarily mean you are using too much CPU, or even too much memory. It means that you are a client that actually uses what you are promised, and they don%26#039;t want that.

Reply:hmmm, i dunno of any free web hosting plans that offer you that. I currently have an unlimited storage plan with lunarpages but they have a 3500 gb bandwidth limit. I think your best bet would be to create you own server at home and purchase lots of huge harddrives as they are relatively cheap now. However I dont know how you would be able to compete with rapidshare and megaupload etc. as they are well established with lots of smaller competitors. if you wanna check out the lunar pages business plan i use heres the link
